December: a time to relax and reflect

I have decided to take most of December off from modeling and Burlesque.  The past couple months have been extremely busy, but very satisfying.  I've managed to make great connections and meet some amazing people with incredible talent.  I am so thankful to be doing all the things I enjoy.  I really think it's going to be a great new year.  Nothing but positive energy flowing.  2010 will be my busiest and most enjoyable year thus far, I feel.  I'm so excited and more ambitious than ever.  February hopefully brings me to LA and Las Vegas with a few awesome shoots already in the works!  It will be my first time in LA!  Can't wait!  Don't forget, my zivity.com debut is in the works!  First set that will be launched was done with my dear friends of RedRum Collaboration.  For Burlesque, you can see me at my next show on January 9th at Union Hall in Brooklyn, NY.

This morning I found this video on the corsetry artist Mr. Pearl.  It's a short, cute clip that some of you might enjoy.  I only dream of owning one of his pieces one day.  I've been a fan for a few years now, so I love even the smallest bit of press on his work.  Completely beautiful.

Full speed ahead!

I feel as though I'm at a crossroads right now, where I've gotten to a specific point in my passions.  Right now, I could either just stay where I am, or I could work harder than ever to achieve the highest success I can manage.  I think I'll go with the second choice!  It has been exhausting, especially still having a day job while shooting a few times per week, traveling, and attending different Burlesque events.


As of right now, I am mainly focusing on making content for my future paysite.  My other big project is that I am working on producing my very own Burlesque variety show with my partner in crime Madame Rosebud.  We have been very busy picking out specific performers we love, and meeting with different important people in the industry who would like to be a part of it.  I look back at everything I have done the past year, and my accomplishments, and it just isn't good enough for me unless something extremely substantial happens.  Call me crazy, but I just want it all.

My paysite is my baby right now.  With membership, I will offer diverse sets of photos that will be exclusively for my site, makeup/hair tutorials, behind the scenes pics and video, striptease video along with a variety of fetish videos, live web cam, journal, scrap book, information on any top secret projects to look forward to, a special section of sets with me and the ladies behind the lens/ design in the industry, and much more!  While the site is being worked on, I will use this blog, and zivity.com (when my debut goes live) as a practice run.  I encourage all of you to email me about any ideas you might have for my paysite (marlomarquise@gmail.com).  Let me know what YOU want to see!  With that said, I'll leave you with a sneak peek to a set I did with Steve Prue.  Enjoy!

Halloween Adventures

So here are the events I will most likely be attending this weekend for Halloween, starting tonight! 

First up, I will be attending the Vampire Freaks Halloween bash tonight with famous goth photographer, Candace of CandyLust.org.  Come out and say hi!  We won't bite....only nibble!

Friday, I will be going to a private dinner party, hosted by my lovely Burlesque beauty Madame Rosebud.  I LOVE food!  Especially when someone else is doing the cooking!  It will be a real spooky treat!  An entire Fall menu!  MMM!

Next on the list for the most important evening, Saturday Halloween.  I will start the night off by seeing a Burlesque show where again Madame Rosebud will be performing (I can't get enough of her!), and then I might be off to the infamous Rated-X panty party! 

Can't wait to see nekkid people done up for Halloween!  This is my favorite holiday!  Hopefully I will be able to post a few snapshots from the parties.  Until then, Happy Halloween boys and ghouls!

Marlo Marathon

This weekend was a very tiring one! Friday night I shot a video project with Vaunt design, wearing her newest creation. Saturday I headed off to philly to spend a whole weekend with RedRum Collaboration, one of my favorite duos in the world!! In two days we shot four sets that will exclusively be on zivity.com and marlomarquise.com (when my site actually goes up). Collective Chaos design came over and dressed me in their naughty nurse collar, and nothing else! I also got to shoot one of their new pieces, what a hot little lacey number! Can't wait to show everyone all the work.

It was such a great weekend spending time with some of my favorite people in the business, and people who have become dear friends of mine. I also made a new friend, Miss PXE. She is just the most darling thing! We shot a special set together for both sites, think fetish circus lion taming!! Stay tuned for those!
